French Majolica Flowerhead serving dish by Delphin Massier (1836-1907)
Unusual Delphin Massier serving dish, moulded as a flowerhead, red to white shaded petals with brown twig overhead handle. Nice color and great detail, measurement 13 ¼ inches diameter (circa 1890). Minor hairline rupture in the unfired ceramic can be seen from the back. This crack does not affect the integrity of the piece.
