Early Pearlware 'Eliza Long' Chinoiserie Plate
A rare 18th-Century English Georgian, hand painted Chinese 'Long Eliza' plate, with husk pattern molded into the plate. It has hand decorated, molded pairs of 'feathers' on the rim. This plate is Circa 1800, and is hand painted with cobalt blue paint with a figure and parasol in a garden. A very few factories made these wares, in Staffordshire, England. The plate acquired the charming name, 'Eliza Long' in the past. A fine collectible cabinet plate!
