Vintage Sterling Silver Tea Strainer Miniature Teapot
A lovely miniature sterling silver teapot that functions as a tea strainer. The tea strainer is made by Amcraft, circa 1930. The teapot holds tea leaves and can be used in a large pt or in a cup of hot water. A great vintage way to serve tea infusions, fully functioning and in great condition. Attached on to the strainer is a chain, also sterling silver, and a ring which is where one can hold and pull out the strainer. The base of the teapot is marked Sterling, Amcraft and Attleboro Mass, (Massachusetts). The teapot measures 1-3/4" by 7/8". Two identical sterling silver teapot strainers are available from Kirsten's Corner.
