French Olive Jar Dating to the Early 1800's
This is a very attractive large French olive jar. It dates to the early 1800's which is apparent due to its shape. The jars with the more bulbous shape and larger more protruding rim date to the early 19th century. Many people view this period of olive jars as the most attractive in dimensions. These jars were made in Biot, France which is in Provence. This jar has an attractive colored glaze.
