A stunning southern four-poster bed with turned, acanthus-carved posts with tobacco leaves and tester probably from Virginia, in very fine mahogany. Fits a California King mattress.

While the bed's width was originally wide enough, the side rails were lengthened to accommodate a California King mattress. A custom box spring which sits down into the original iron L brackets allows the California King mattress to rest on the side rails.
A California King mattress is 72" wide x 84" long.
Custom box spring is included: 65" wide x 84" long x 7" high.
