18th century French Provincial miniature sample armoire made of walnut and burl of oak with pine as a secondary wood. A rare early armoire, nicely crafted with subtle carved details and beautiful wood grain to the burl panels from the Burgundy region of France. Bottom dovetailed drawer lined with tin compartments. Original brass hardware. Lock and keys in working condition. Waxed patina. Hooks have been added so that it may be hung as a small wall cabinet. Circa 1780-1800. 20.5" high 17.25" 7.5" deep.
