19th Century Austrian Armoire in Pine
From the Austria-Hungarian Empire, a beautiful small armoire in pine with two doors opening to an interior outfitted with fixed and adjustable shelving and one small drawer. Knife hinges were added to allow the doors to open 180 degrees (flush with the front). Carved embellishments along top corners and center, along with slipper feet add to the charm of this lovely piece. Circa early 1800's. Door are hinged on solid brass offset L hinges which allow the doors to open back parallel to the armoire.
