Pair of Danish Serpentine-Front Cuban Mahogany Consoles with Mirrors

Pair of Danish Christian VIII Serpentine-Front Consoles with Mirrors in Cuban Mahogany, c.1850. Influenced by Northern European interpretation of Louis Philippe and late Biedermeier. Cabinets offer one drawer each above bowed front cabinet door, and terminate in carved scroll feet. A pierced carved bonnet rests above each mirror. The pair are finished in original French polish. Mirrors are original. Danes has trade routes with Cuba and the Caribbean and imported exquisite Cuban Mahogany for cabinet making. These cabinets are completely original and in excellent condition.
