Gustavian Style Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Brass Moldings

The furniture style established during the French reign of Louis XVI had a major influence in the court of Gustave III of Sweden as it did throughout Europe. That influence is the foundation of what we today call Swedish Gustavian. This beautiful chest of drawers in mahogany from the late 1800s offers the original stone top and cast bronze hardware, and polished brass moldings.
