French Majolica Onnaing Maître d'Hôtel Pig Pitcher

Charming collectible Onnaing French pitcher of a pig, dressed as a head-waiter. The pig is wearing a chef's hat, chestnut jacket, tie, shirt and apron. He is seated on a chair, and the chair back forms the pitcher's handle. He holds a bottle, glass and dish towel. Marked on reverse with Onnaing's mark, a half sun and number 737. The colors are lovely and vibrant.
