Japanese Porcelain Ikebana Bucket
A late 19th Century Japanese Hirado porcelain wucai porcelain vase in the shape of a Japanese water bucket. Decorated in the Chinese Ming Style with a Imperial Chinese mark. The Hirado Factory was the Japanese Royal porcelain maker and made a significant number of pieces influenced by Chinese Imperial originals that can cause antiques dealers much confusion. This piece has been restored.
