19th c. Country French comtoise or grandfather clock with automated pendulum. Original seven day Morbier movement, cleaned and in working order, having an enamel face, signed by the clockmaker, G. Lebey and the name of his town, La Ferté-Macé (in Normandy). Embossed and painted brass decoration and automated pendulum representing a hunter taking aim at a bird, with both the man's rifle and the bird in motion as the pendulum swings. Nicely decorated case, etched with floral and sheaf of wheat designs and with etched signature of the clockmaker and his town. All original. A video of the motion of the pendulum is available upon request.
