English Regency Clock, Decorative Painting by Finnemore of Birmingham
English Regency 8 day tall case clock. Clock maker unknown, dial was painted by Finnemore of Birmingham. The name is engraved onto the back of the calendar dial and stamped or cast into the mounting plate. The Finnemore family painted dials from 1812-1852. The various partnerships included William I, William II, and George Finnemore.
Four corners of the dial depict the four continents, the top arch is a pastoral scene and the calendar dial consist of two full moons, a ship and a women holding a bow with a quiver of arrows.
