19th Century French Country Long Case Clock
A great decorative clock whose dial and case are from the early 1800's. Exceptional bonnet of thin repousse depicting a Bachanalian scene surrounding porcelain enamel dial from Saint-Martin-d'Auxigny, France. Cherry wood case with chapeau de gendarme bonnet. Movement is 20th century from "Western Germany" and signed. Clock is in working order.
