Two early 19th Century Directoire Period Painted Tole Clocks
A clock always seems to add personality to a room and these two are very decorative with their painted floral finishes. The one on the left is a bit larger at 21" tall by 16" wide and the one on the right is 20" tall by 14" wide. Both are from the mid early 19th century and are priced at $650 each, or $1300 together. We recommend having a quartz movement added to a clock like this unless you are a real purist. It can be done for very little additional cost, with no change to the appearance and it reduces the possibility of having to remove it from the wall to reset the time.
