19th Century French Blue Enameled Bronze Oval Box
Listed is a 19th Century French Blue Enameled Bronze Box. This box has a great details on the outside of the lid. It depicts 1 woman caring, a tray. She is surrounded by 2 men and a laying dog. There is another man in the back ground, and a man coming thru the doorway. Looks like of like a outside pub scene. You can tell she is a working citizen, by the way she is dressed, and supports an apron. It is Gold Bronze in color, with a oval circle of Blue Enameling on the lid. The sides had a different design work as well as the bottom of the piece. The bottom design looks like paved stone. The box is 4 inches, by 1 1/2 inches tall. Its a great find.
