English 19th Century “Lady's Companion” Leather Sewing Case and Tools
Circa 1850’s English fitted sewing case called a “lady’s companion” of black leather with gold tooling made to resemble a book. The interior is lined with maroon leather, inside are five tools: thimble, leather needle case, scissors, bodkin and stiletto all in sterling silver with a typical Victorian floral motif.
