English, 19th Century, Tortoiseshell Etui with Fitted Tools
English, circa 1810, Georgian tortoiseshell etui with silver scalloped cartouche on both front and back and are not engraved. The push button clasp is in working order and opens the lid to reveal a fully fitted interior with five sewing tools: small tube for needles, tweezers, scissors, crochet hook, and pen knife, the knife handle is also covered in tortoiseshell and has steel blades which is common. The sewing tools are a mix of steel and sterling silver. Mint condition, no chips, bites or age cracks of any kind.
