19th Century Glass French Jewelry Box
This is a 19th Century French beveled Glass Jewelry box. It has the shape of a tall slim house. There are 2 pieces of glass on the top that has a shape of a roof. There is a curved hand bent handle at the top that you can use to pick up the piece. The front door opens up to one side, and also has a latch on it. 3/4 of the pieces is made of all original beveled glass. There is a shelf in the middle that will allow you to use for putting thing on it. The green silk is all original and is padded up on the bottom, middle shelf and the back wall. The trim is gold in color. Most likely made from a European base metal. There are 4 gold feet , one on each corner to support the Jewelry box up. This would of belonged to a high end family living in Europe.
