Avery Brass Sewing Needlecase “The Quadruple Golden Casket” Butterfly Needlecase

In 1867 William Avery developed a brass needlecase able to hold four packages of needles “The Quadruple Golden Casket” was born. Fully stamped with the name on the outside due to the fact Avery went on to develop a series of needle cases. The case is stamped on the bottom the size of needles it will hold 6 and 7 on the front and 8 and 9 on the backside. It is also stamped with the makers’ name, W. Avery & Son Redditch. Highly embossed design on both the front and back with push levers to raise the needle pack holders inside up and down and in perfect working condition.
