English 19th century Ceres pattern white ironstone pitcher with a light blue tint potted up by J & G Meakin of Hanley in 1851. Nice heavy melon ribs with wheat and clover motif flowing around the pitcher.

CONDITION: Excellent condition with no cracks but has one dark area on the bottom that is crazing in the glaze, crazing to the glaze along the handle, normal pottery pops inside bottom.
