19th Century Wooden Chinese Rice Thresher with Painted Scenes
A rare and beautiful Chinese wind-winnowing machine for separating grain from chaff. This particular machine was used for rice. Made of wood with painted decorations in black, ochre and red, which include floral motif and scenes of Chinese life. China, circa early 1800's (or earlier).
