Early 20th Century French Metal Altar Rack with Leaf Clusters

Saved from a church that was demolished in Omer, France is this 1930s – 40s French altar rack. Typically used in churches for lighting a candle to say a prayer for a loved one this rack features one hundred leaf clusters over five rows. Each leaf cluster will hold a votive candleholder and has a hand forged cross at the back. This piece would be right at home in a garden setting with glimmering candles as you dine al fresco!
