Brass Andirons with Beehive Finials, a Pair, 19th c.
Bright pair of American Federal brass andirons from the 19th century. They have beehive finials atop turned baluster stems. These two are quite large scale - nearly 2 feet tall with cabriole legs and ball feet. The billet bars are forged iron, and not particularly deep, which makes them fit more readily into modern fireplaces. These will add gleam to a fireplace, whether in use or not.
