Antique Water Pitcher (or Vase) by Barbour Silver Plate
A vase with character. This pitcher is about 120 years old and shows some lovable signs of age, still it holds flowers and their water beautifully. The shape works easily for loose modern arrangements. The warm silvery patina complements the flowers. (Daffodils are just for inspiration - not included). A lovely hostess gift.
The Barbour Silver Company operated between 1892 - 1898. Marks (BSCEP griffin, thistle, and arm raised above a castle) show it was made prior to the acquisition of Barbour by International Silver
