Large antique Japanese Satsuma ware censer featuring Shi-Shi handles and a rare square shaped bowl and four legs. The lid having a lion holding a ball with a Greek Key pattern around the border. An abundance of gilt trim all over. The brightly colored body has floral scenes and decorative fretwork pattern legs. In good condition with minor wear on gilt handles and age appropriate wear. From Meiji period est. circa 1900's. Signed on the bottom.
