Roger Jean Pierre Rhinestone Necklace

Roger Jean Pierre Necklace of fuchsia faceted beads and clear rhinestones. Between 1934 and 1939 Roger Jean Pierre designed for Elsa Schiaparelli, and from 1940 to 1946 created fashion designs for Jean Clement. He then went on to work for other well known designers such as Balenciaga and Christian Dior. In 1960 he opened his own shop. During that time, his pieces were signed with a paper label. This necklace was designed during that period. Consisting of fuchsia multi faceted glass beads and crystal pear shaped stones. The smaller clear stones are rhinestones. The necklace measures about 17 inches and about 2 and a half inches wide. A statement piece, and in wonderful vintage condition. All stones are clean and clear.
