This is a gorgeous platinum, diamond, and emerald ring, made in the Edwardian era (1910-20). It features wonderfully intricate filigree detailing, creating a delicate, web-like effect. In the center is a natural emerald that measures 6 mm x 4.5 mm x 4 mm or approximately .75 carat. The emerald has great color saturation and has the kind of inclusions one finds in an emerald. Above and on either side of the emerald are 3 round 4 mm fancy diamonds. Below the emerald is one round 5mm diamond this diamond has an light inclusion near the prong . In between these larger diamonds are twelve 2 mm diamonds that range in colors from pale yellow, champange, and cognac. The total carat weight is approximately 2 carats. The diamond range in clairity from SL1 -SL11. All of the diamonds range from fancy champange to a fancy pale yellow in color. The color combination of the diamonds and the emerald is highly unusual for an edwardian piece and quite beautiful.
