Magnificent Pair of Chinese Canton Double Happiness Porcelain Temple Jar Lamps

Pair of antique Chinese Canton Blue & White "Double Happiness" porcelain Temple Jar lamps, c. 1860. These 150 year old double happiness vases were outfitted as lamps in the 1920's, though have been newly rewired, fully electrified with dual chain pull lights in each lamp, resting on their original Rosewood bases and custom made Rosewood tops with fabric covered electrical cords. Each lamp possesses under glaze Cheng Hua hallmark. Custom silk shades and hand painted porcelain parrot finials. No chips or cracks.
