William Maynard is a graduate of the school of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He also studied for two years at Massachusetts College of Art. Mr. Maynard was on the faculty at New England School of Art and Design for thirty-two years and at one time was chairman of the Fine Arts Department. He was also a faculty member at the school of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. His work is in many museums and collections through out the U.S. Now living in Provincetown, William Maynard has had a long and rich connection with Provincetown.
