A monumental Hard-Edge painting on a shaped canvas, unsigned, c. 1970
A very large, unsigned acrylic on canvas Hard Edge painting reminiscent of the Washington Color School artists or painters like Alvin Demar Loving. This outstanding work combines elements of Color Field, Op Art and Minimalism, and although unsigned and unattributed, there weren't too many artists during this period that were creating works of this scale on shaped canvases. An absolutely must have for anyone into ultra mod or Midcentury decor!
