"Embracing couple" Sculpture by Itzik BenShalom

Itzik BenShalom was born 1945 in Hadera, Israel. He is a self taught artist who has been working in the lost wax sculpture technique since 1967. His sculpture deals primarily with the sensual human form in flowing lines and curves. Though his work shows the influence of the European modern art tradition, it has a distinctive flavor of its own. Benshalom's work appears in galleries, corporate and private collections throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Australia.
