Rudolf Kuchler (1867-1954) German; "The Swordsman", bronze

A very dynamic yet classical late 19th c. bronze sculpture depicting a knight clad in chainmail and armor lunging with his sword, by well listed German artist Rudolf K Kuchler. The piece is beautifully cast with exquisite detail, and it would look perfect in any gentleman's study or library. The bronze is signed "Kuchler" and is stamped with a monogram of some sort within a circle, possibly a foundry mark.
