Pair of Magnificent Mid-Century Sirocco Lounge Chairs by Arne Norell

This is a handsome pair of Rio Rosewood Sirocco Lounge Chairs by Swedish designer Arne Norell (1917 - 1971) for Norell Mobel AB. These lovely, iconic Mid-Century chairs are just magnificent in quality & design, are super comfortable and have leather which would remind one of a well-loved Hermes saddle - just something to behold! They are in wonderful, vintage condition with a terrific patina to the leather and all the hardware and strapping are in excellent condition (see detail pictures). These chairs were designed to last many lifetimes! The wood & leather has been recently been reconditioned and they show wonderfully. Don't miss adding these to your Mid-Century decor - they will get noticed!

"These chairs were featured in the Summer, 2013 edition of Atomic Ranch (p. 68); these are something to pass on to future generations - a lovely investment which will add value to your Mid-Century collection today and to your home for many years to come! Based on our research, we believe these are the earlier version of the chair which was made in Denmark (1960s) These measure 28" high; 15" seat height; and, the seat is 26" deep and wide."
