Commentary

"Charles Hollis Jones is an iconic innovator and designer of the Mid-Century era with his most notable and magnificent works being in Lucite furniture accented in chrome or brass. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana, however moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 16 where he founded CHJ Designs. His brilliance became evident when he began creating unique pieces for some of the city's most renowned showrooms, such as Hudson-Rissman. His work has been beloved by art critics and Hollywood celebrities. This lovely addition to your home would be a recognition of the design history CHJ made when he began his long and on-going journey into the artistic design of Lucite furniture. "
