Albert Coles Medallion Pattern Coin Silver and Gilt Twisted Handle Ladle
This is a stunning early american soup ladle with twist stem and silver gilt bowl in the Medallion pattern by Albert Coles. The helmeted warrior on the handle is in near mint condition with amazing crisp detail to the coin-like emblem. There is a monogram to the reverse of the handle. The gilt bowl shows little to no wear and this is an exquisite by this well known early silversmith. It comes with it's original purple velvet-lined leather case.
