American Gilt Coin Silver Grecian Vinaigrette
This is a lovely little gilt coin silver vinaigrette, American-made circa 1860. It has an acid washed surface and features Grecian design elements, such as a repeating geometric border, laurel branches, and swags. The upper part of the piece is gilt and the top unscrews to allow one to fill the vinaigrette with perfume or cologne. This piece is in excellent condition and the lid has a tight fit.
It measures 3" high and weighs 1.45 troy ounces. The bottom is marked "03." It hangs on a short chain of approx. 8".
