Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Servers in Rare Leaf Pattern

This Georg Jensen Sterling Silver set is comprised of a serving spoon and a serving fork, or salad servers, in the 133 pattern. This pattern is a rare and beautiful design, where organic elements are incorporated into the delicately shaped handle that featured unfolding leaves. The middle of the stem has what looks like a bursting leaf bud, and at the top, a flower comes into bloom. The set is clearly inspired by Art Deco design, of abstraction and organic tendencies. The back of the serving spoon and the fork are both stamped 'GEORG JENSEN/ 133/ STERLING/ DENMARK'. The spoon and the fork measure 11 inches long each and they weigh 3.6 and 4 troy ounces respectively. The silver is in great condition. This pattern dates to 1915-1927. A fine addition to a sterling silver set or a Georg Jensen collection.
