Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Salad Servers Pattern #159

An elegant set of Georg Jensen Silver, a salad spoon and fork circa 1920. The "Made in Denmark" and GI silver hallmark on the back of the fork and the spoon were used between 1915-1927. This beautiful silver salad server set measures 8 1/2 inches long, by approximately 2 inches wide (spoon). The handles are decorated with stylized leaves, almost curling cabbage or leaf bud pattern. This is quite a rare pattern within the Jensen collection. The handles are hollow inside. At the middle of the handle we have the Georg Jensen silver ball detail work that makes his pieces stand out. The combined weight of them is 160 grams or 5 troy ounces. The pair are in excellent condition.
