Late 18th or Early 19th Century Small Italian Kneehole Desk. The base and top are fashioned with patterns of burled walnut veneer and fruitwood inlays, with one long central drawer flanked by three stacked drawers and a recessed door in the kneehole. The delicately carved bun feet are exceptional and the back is finished and inlaid so that the piece can be floated. This beautiful desk could work perfectly in a bedroom flanked by twin beds. The desk is in good original finish and structural condition.
