Milo Baughman Chrome Ebonized Oak Table, c.1970
Milo Baughman Chrome, Ebonized Oak Table, USA c.1970. The simple rectangular top stands upon the iconic rolled metal legs originally designed by Milo Baughman. The influential and prolific designs of modern furnishings created by Baughman have been a powerful element in contemporary design. Please look at the proportion of the cylindrical chrome tubing that makes up the vertical legs and the horizontal supports that directly reach the floor and stand upon circular risers. From every direction the table possesses a striking appearance and mixes easily in a variety of interiors. The top is made of oak with an ebonized finish chosen to resemble the darkest black. This table may be used as a writing table or as a dining table as it has no apron to interfere with chairs placed around it.
