Northern European Mahogany Dining Table with 3 Leaves, c.1850

Exceptional extension dining table comfortably seats 10, up to 12. Incomparable French-polished finish. Table measures 90" long closed and has 3 leaves, each measuring 11". Fully opened table is 10' 3" long. Center leg folds down when table is extended to give additional support to the center of the table.
The 3 leaves were fabricated in our shop and polished to match the table. In Europe the leaves are not finished and are often of pine as they were always used with a table cloth. The center supporting leg (under the table) is not original but is an antique center leg. When adapting tables we are always careful to reproduce everything in keeping with the original integrity of the table, from hardware to finishes.
