Steel and Glass Brutalist Round Table, 1970's
This vintage table is attributed to Silas Seandel but not signed. Whoever designed it, it is beautifully made and unusual. We find it evokes Game of Thrones to some people. The base is very heavy steel with a goldtone finish, worn through to the steel in several places - the mixed metal colors give it patina and a pleasing effect to our eye. On top is the original 3/4" thick glass. Circa 1970.
A sculptural presence, this table is an interesting size at 30" across. It makes a generous side table between a sofa and chair, especially in a location where the dynamic base can be seen. It is also a good scale for a center table in a small entry.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition, with a tiny flake off one side of the glass (so small, we could not catch it in a photo). The patina on the base shows mostly goldish color, with some of the underlying silvery steel showing as well.
