English George III Period Sheraton Mahogany Pembroke Table
A nice example of an English pembroke table named for the Early of Pembroke that supposedly ordered the first example of this useful and flexible table. First examples date to about 1760 and are often created to Thomas Chippendale designs. This one stands on four square tapered legs with one useful working drawer and one false drawer. You might have noticed similar pembroke tables in the Oval Office. We are pleased to be able to offer this example from a good local collection. Opens to 37.5" x 33".
