An original etching on laid paper after English artist James Ward (1769-1859) titled "Fighting Bulls, c. 1850. Engraved by English artist William Wise (1823-1876) c. 1850. Signed in the plate lower right. Pencil signed and titled by the engraver William Wise lower left and right. The Philadelphia Museum of Art has an example of this etching within their permanent collection. Sheet size: 9.75" x 13.75". Image size: 5" x 8". Excellent condition.

James Ward RA (23 October 1769 – 17 November 1859), was a painter, particularly of animals, and an engraver.
