An original signed aquatint by French artist Phillipe Lejeune (1924-2014) titled "Mobile Gas Building", c. 1985. Hand pencil signed and numbered by Lejeune: AP: 20/20. Sheet size: 15" x 16.5".

At 13, with his mother, is a regular at the Louvre . A few years later, in 1941 , he met Maurice Denis and attended his " Workshop of Sacred Art "of the Place Furstenberg . It benefits advice Georges Desvallières and became a pupil of Jean Souverbie in 1943 . He obtained a travel grant to the National Award in 1948 and then lived in Oceania . In 1951 , he married the writer Geneviève Dormann ; this marriage were born three daughters.

For eleven years, and without interrupting the paint, it executes the models, cardboard and glass paintings and stained glass decorates many churches in Normandy and Brittany . From 1960 , regular contracts allow him to live in his paintings: Connaissance des Arts, Paris Gallery, Galerie Durand-Ruel, Gorosane Gallery, collectors ... In 1968 he traveled to Nepal and stayed in India . He founded the School of Etampes in 1970 and opened a paint shop and engraving in prison in Fleury-Merogis . In 1974 , he was named "works on" curator of the Municipal Museum of Etampes .

He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French artists , graduating in 1975 , the Gold Medal. In 1983 the Taylor Foundation awarded him the Grand Prix Baudry for all of his work. He was appointed Painter of the Army in 1995 and made a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2006 .
