An Op Art diptych by American artist Ben Cunningham (1904-1975), created in 1969. A painter, muralist and printmaker, Cunningham was a WPA artist in San Francisco during the Depression, eventually moving to New York to teach and do design work for Cooper Union and Arts Students' League. The two silkscreen on plastic panel works come together to form a full composition, mirroring the geometric abstract design in almost inverse colors.
