Father of the Op Art movement Victor Vasarely creates a diamond design using a golden yellow gradient and circles in this geometric abstract titled "Dia or CF" from 1968. Vasarely (1908-1997) was trained as a graphic artist in his native Hungary until he emigrated to Paris in 1930. From there he developed his signature style, Optical Art, recognizable as geometric abstract compositions that appear three-dimensional by experimenting with shape and color. This serigraph on schoeller parole cardboard is signed and numbered in pencil, edition: 149/200. It is offered in white mat with a black and gold wood frame.
