"Celebrate New York" by Richard Anuszkiewicz, Silkscreen, 1973

American artist Richard Anuszkiewicz experiments with the relationship of colors and shapes, with a special interest in the optical changes that occur when high-intensity colors are applied to the same geometric configurations. The result are mesmerizing pieces like "Celebrate New York", where complimentary colors blue and orange coexist in a diagonal composition. This silkscreen is signed and numbered in pencil from an edition of 300. It is framed in white wood with a white mat using conservation materials.
